Taxi Cabs

Recommended Posts

Most ports have "taxi lines"...get in line, get in the cab when it's your turn. Same at airports.

 

In "ports of call", there generally are no "taxi lines", but outside of the port, you may find cabs or buses to take you where you want to go.

Of course, before you find those "cabs," make sure you've done the research to know what is a "legal" taxi in that city, whether it should have a meter or, at least, posted zone rates, etc. The last thing you need is to get in some unmarked car next to a guy holding a handmade sign saying "cheep taxi."
