Alternate Dinner Options if We Miss Dinner--Anthem

Recommended Posts

Hi, everyone! First time time on Anthem of the Seas this June on a 4-night Bermuda cruise. We have three cabins (all adults) with the earlier dining time. We just booked the Rip Cord-iFly program at 5:40 which is during our dinner time! What other options do we have for dining on the ship?

I know we could book a specialty restaurant but we're not really wanting to do an upcharge restaurant, and I'm overwhelmed my searching Google! I thought y'all might know faster and easier!

Also, is there an easy way to check and see if different times become available for the Rip-Cord program? Could there be additional times once we are onboard?

Thanks so much for any help!

Susan

Solarium Bistro is complimentary on Anthem and Harmony. There is a fee for it on Oasis.

Ahhh...the consistency of inconsistency from ship to ship...even same class ships.

OK...What's the deal on that??!! Free in Ft. Lauderdale for identical ships, but charge

on same class in PC??!! :(

There are always cancellations at the Main Dining Room and specialty restaurants. Just go and ask if there are seats available. As long as you are less than 4 people, it should not be a long wait to get a seat.

Otherwise, the free dining venues are always pretty flexible options.

Then, if you don't mind a limited menu, just go back to your room and order Room Service.

Or, with a bit of planning, have some sandwiches, salads or other food put together at lunch and store it in the fridge back at the room.

It's a cruise, there's always food.

Thanks, everyone!

Is the Solarium Bistro an included fare option?

No...25.00 a pax.

Me? We just do the Windjammer on time collision days.

Solarium Bistro is "free".

There are 3 entrees with an upcharge, but it is a complimentary restaurant.

It is not inconsistent at all.

The name may be the same but the restaurant is not.

Nothing to do with it being in PC. There was a charge for it (dinner) when Oasis was in FLL except for a couple weeks when they did test it as a free restaurant.

Thanks! :)

Must be really set up different indeed. What makes Harmony and Allure

so different in the solarium cafe versus twin sister Oasis? I know they

call it solarium "bistro" cafe on Oasis. Layout and offerings?
