Carnival Dream vegetarian question.

Hello. We’ve cruised 12 times on three different cruise lines. Six of those have been on Carnival ships. We are vegetarians and haven’t always found good vegetarian options for meals. Any vegetarians out there with recent experiences on the Dream? We are considering booking on it for Feb 2019. Tks in advance for any info back.

I think it would be difficult for a vegan, but vegetarian seems doable.

A few weeks ago the best food I had was in the pasta bar.

Fresh and hot.

Choose your sauce and the veggies you want and it is made to order.

After one of those cold hamburgers I was ready for veggies.

Seriously.

If all Carnival menus are similar I can report that on the Pride a couple of months ago there were plenty of vegetarian options. As a previous poster said there might be more of a problem for vegans. If you eat fish, there are even more options.

Does the Dream have a Tandoor? Lots of options there

The Dream does have the Tandoor. Also, there is at least one if not more vegetarian options in the Main Dining Room each night.

My daughter is a vegetarian and we have sailed several carnival ships and twice on the dream. She never had a problem and the wait staff worked with her to make sure she had a great meal each night. With some items they would check with the kitchen for ingredients. Some soups etc were made with chicken stock.

Tandoori starboard aft during lunch

There were always one or two options in the MDR, the buffet had a lot to offer, and Pasta Bella was the best! I didn't try Tandoor because I was usually choosing the Indian option in the MDR every night.
