Anyone know why "Thread Tools" function is not working?

Is it just me, or is anyone else not able to subscribe to threads?

The Search Thread doesn't seem to be work also.

The problem started the other day.

Cruise Critic is aware of it. They noted that with this being Thanksgiving it may take a few days to resolve.

I noticed about thirty or so threads in Japanese/Korean or other script when this started. All were listed as coming from posters who listed their names as this or that University/College etc.

I am assuming it may have been necessary to shut parts of the system down in the short term.

John, I am not sure. I too have noticed them posting very early in the morning the past three days including early today. I didn't even open up the threads not knowing what they were posting.

The drop down boxes are not functional. Management has been notified, but it may take a few days to fix.

If you are a bit tech savvy you can fix yourself, although not too convenient since you have to do on each page

F12 to open developer console. Click on "Console" then at the bottom type:

$(".thread-search-menu").show();

for search

$(".thread-tools-menu").show();

For tools

$(".user-menu").show();

For your user menu

It all seems to be working again now
