Update on status of St. Maartin and St. Thomas???

Does anyone know what the condition of these two islands is since the hurricane damage? We are scheduled to be going to both in March. Do you think they will both be up and running? Thanks!

I believe Royal is going back to St. Thomas within the next week or so.

I have a good friend in the St Thomas tourism wedding business. Recovery is steady but slow. They depend so much on visitors and not having any has hurt small business.

We'll be in St Thomas on Monday. Doing the 10 night Serenade leaving tomorrow.

Curious what kind of excursions are being offered there. I thought I read than Magen's Bay had just reopened.

We are currently on Jewel and visited St Thomas on Monday, first stop.after our departure from San Juan. The island had suffered a lot of devastation but they are really glad to have visitors back and have such a poditive attitude about rebuilding

We also switched over to Antigua instead of St Maarten.

Yes Bob. I just read that as well. I believe it was in the Insider Travel Report, but am not 100% sure.

Our itinerary changed but Royal kept St Thomas.

Thanks...What condition was St. Thomas in? Were excursions running? Were the beaches open? Like Magens Bay?

My cruise planner for Harmony Dec. 2 is showing 17 excursions for St. Thomas including sail and snorkeling, fishing, scuba, Magens Bay, Sapphire Beach, island tours. Nothing for St. John.
