newtocruise_rj Posted August 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Hi all! We've booked two excursions for my first cruise, leaving tomorrow. Do we need to print the confirmation emails regarding the purchase of these excursions? Or will P&O give us something an embarkation? Thanks in advance! pisces14 Posted August 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2018 If you have a butler, he will give you your excursion tickets if not I would assume they will be given to you by your cabin steward. We've never printed our emails so I wouldn't bother if I were you.
Cristaltips Posted August 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Your tickets will be on your bed with the horizon paper and other bits and bobs ( at least, ours always have been) Enjoy your cruise!
Rare Selbourne Posted August 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2018 We have always printed off our confirmations and taken them with us, but we have never needed them. There will be a window envelope in your cabin with all your excursion tickets inside. Sometimes the cabin Stewards hide it somewhere like the stationary rack inside the Cruise info folder and it’s taken me a day or two to find them, but they have always been in the cabin somewhere! FangedRose Posted August 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2018 I always print out the confirmation email. By the time the cruise comes I've forgotten what I've booked! But as the others say the tickets will be delivered to your cabin. If you have a good few days before your first port you may not receive them until the second day. They used to leave them in the 'letter box' outside your cabin, but more recently they actually place them in your cabin.
majortom10 Posted August 10, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 10, 2018 When we have booked excursions in the past which hasnt been very often they have always been in an envelope on the desk when we have embarked.
kevboy Posted August 13, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2018 Everybody is correct regarding your excursion tickets being delivered to your cabin, sometimes at the start of the cruise and sometimes the night before, Another reassuring thing is that you will will also find confirmation of the booking under ports of call in your cruise personaliser, P&O are very efficient in this aspect. Rare Presto2 Posted August 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 14, 2018 Put a have always been on our bed in the cabin and are on our cruise personaliser as soon as we've booked them. That is all the evidence you need I would think. Sent from my SM-G935F using Forums mobile app
annieuk Posted August 14, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 14, 2018 For those people who receive the Excursions Brochure with the luggage labels in the back - I'm not sure if passengers other than those who booked Select receive this - I always look through the excursions and mark the ones my husband and I have booked. We never receive this brochure until several weeks after we've booked via the Cruise Personaliser but we find it useful to be able to refresh our memory about the trips we've chosen when we are on board, without having to look online.
