tran93le Posted May 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2018 I’m staying in a balcony room & it comes with $100 on board credit. What can I do with it? Does it work like real money where I can use it to shop/eat at specialty restaurants? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
MBP1 Posted May 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2018 You can use it to buy anything on the ship
joepeka Posted May 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2018 As mentioned, you use it for anything you purchase on the ship. The ship's purchase system is cashless and everything goes on your Sign and Sail account - if you have a credit on that account, your purchases (bar, shops, bingo, spa, shore excursions, etc.) will be deducted from that credit balance. Since you got this OBC as part of your booking, it's likely non-refundable so anything remaining from the $100 at the end of the cruise will be forfeit. 2Shoes2Go Posted May 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Unless you've prepaid your gratuities, the OBC can also go towards these.
klfrodo Posted May 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2018 You don't have any choice what you use it for. It's a $100 credit that is automatically applied to your on board account to be used on board. Instead of a starting balance of $0, you start with a $-100 As soon as a charge hits your account, it subtracts from your available credit until your balance reaches $0. bnorris10 Posted May 20, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 20, 2018 Something you can do is go to the casino and add $100 to the slots and play for a bit then withdraw the rest if you really wanna keep the $$ - I personally use it to cover gratuity or drinks on the ship
