Anyone on the Pearl Lately?

Since the refurbishment? We just booked on the Pearl for the cruise right after Mardi Gras. I see lots of other posts of other ships but the Pearl praises seem absent :)

First time on NCl.

FYI - often once people cruise, they might make a post or two and then go back to normal life and not active here.

Just got off the Pearl. Great ship and trip. A few areas could use some refreshing but most was clean and nice. Crew was great.

Would get back on in a heartbeat.

Been on the Pearl numerous times and once since refurbishment. Same wonderful ship, wonderful crew, all of her just looking even a bit better. The Pearl (and actually all Jewel class ships) are probably favorites of many NCL guests. They are ours.

I was on the Pearl last month and keep meaning to post a longer review. I thought she was a lovely ship. It felt crowded at times on the Promenade, but the ship was well maintained and very clean. Our cabin was absolutely beautiful and every single staff member I interacted with went out of their way to be pleasant. Overall I felt like there was a general feeling of true regard that we enjoyed ourselves.

Love the Pearl. I dont know what it was like before refurbishment but found the cabin (mini suite) to be really nice, as well as the common areas, restaurants, spa, etc. It was very clean and the crew were all so nice and helpful. It had a great vibe too...all the other passengers seemed really nice too. Wouldnt hesitate to go back on it again.

I did enjoy Gard's you tube videos. Very informative.

This question applies to many of the ships, not just the Pearl.

Moderno/Cagneys serves breakfast and lunch to Suite passengers only.

And yes, you can get breakfast in the MDR and lunch and dinner.

I was on the Pearl in July in an aft suite. The ship was very clean and the crew was terrific. We had a great trip. Just a couple of annoyances. There were wads of used tissues in the robe from previous passengers, there were holes in the sheets, and just somewhat of a lack of attention to detail by the butler. But nothing major. The food was overall terrific. But I will say that the desserts had a tendency to look a lot better than they tasted. We would be happy to sail her again (that was our fourth time on the Pearl)
