New Cruiser upgrade/Upsell help

I just received an email to upgrade/Upsell me from my verandah balcony to the panorama balcony , not sure of the difference except to front of ship from the back.14 bucks is the cost any and all insight would be much appreciated.

I’m not a fan of the Veranda deck since there are lots of opportunities for noise unless you go forward or are under a good area in the buffet. You will feel more movement up top but if that doesn’t bother you then check to see what is directly above you. If it’s cabins I would do it.

If you take them up on the upsell, you be going from deck 8 to deck 10. You can check the deck plans at Carnival.com. Have a great cruise.

The Glory was the ship that started my cruising addiction. Looking at the deck plans, if you are on the back of the Veranda deck now you are directly under the Lido deck with the Marketplace and the pools. You would go to the front of the Panorama deck which is under the Spa and other cabins. If it were me making the decision I could not call Carnival back fast enough to make the switch. Right now you have way more opportunity for noise.

I have not sailed on deck 8 but have avoided it on aft because the lido is above it and the other cabins more forward are always booked. I would try Panorama for that amount. Happy Sailing!!

I'd grab that $14 upgrade to deck 10 over deck 8 so fast. Deck 10 should be a LOT less risk for noise from being below the Lido deck. Enjoy!

For our third Carnival cruise, we were booked on the Empress Deck. We were upgraded for free to the Panorama Deck. From that time on, ( 7 more cruises that had Panorama Decks), we have always booked the Panorama Deck. Nice and quiet and so close to all of the action on the Lido Deck.
