Quiet stateroom? - Yes. We heard quiet cheering from the pool deck above us once or twice, but that was it.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony view - N/A

Balcony size - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Nope! A great stateroom.

Any other comments? - The third bed in the room folds down from the wall. If you aren’t planning on using it, it stays folded up and you get used to seeing it on the wall instead of having a second painting.

This stateroom is very close to the Spinnaker lounge, the pool deck, and the gym.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Fairly quiet. No noise from above. The only appreciable noise was the sound of the wake, but we loved it.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? Yes.

Balcony View - Gorgeous views off the aft of the ship. Great to watch the wake.

Balcony Size? The balcony was huge. It had two loungers, two chairs and a table.

Was wind a problem? Not that we noticed.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? Not at all.

Any specific problems with this cabin? The only issue I had personally is it was a bit of a challenge getting the shower/tub. I have short legs and it sits up a bit from the ground. There are handles so i was ok, but I don't think someone with any mobility issues would be able to negotiate it very well. My husband didn't care for the fact that the light in the toilet stall was on a motion detection system so any time there was any movement it would come on, but it didn't bother me.

Any other comments? Loved this room. Bed was huge and comfy. Room was big. Shower and tub in the same enclosure. Toilet in a different enclosure. Nespresso coffee maker - heaven! Table and two chairs in room as well. Bathroom had a scale (boo), q-tips and cotton balls, hair dryer, magnifying lighted mirror, shower poof and Bvlgari shampoo, body wash and lotion. Two robes in closet. TONS of storage. Cool little pull out things on either side of the bed (no side tables due to the layout). There was a dvd player under the counter. The light over the bed resembles a giant toilet seat (not a complaint, just an observation

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – The room was generally quiet although not soundproof. You could hear some other cabins' doors slam shut, and noise when the cabin stewards were cleaning.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Not sure.

Balcony View - Balcony had full view, no obstructions. A bit of wear and tear and some paint peeling, but it didn't hinder use. The sliding doors stayed open without a bungee, and shut tightly.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal size balcony, nothing special. Room for 2 people to sit in upright chairs and a small table.

Was wind a problem? - Wind was not a problem for us on our Carribean itinerary. Some nights, we could hear the party from the pool deck if we had the door open.

Any specific problems with this cabin? - We had no issues with this cabin, but we did run a white noise generator app at night. I did hear some door slamming, from time to time, but it wasn't enough to wake me or ruin my stay.

Any other comments? - The mini-suite had ample space and plenty of hangers for our 6 night cruise. We had brought magnetic wall hooks, which helped. The "hot shot" style coffee maker worked, as did the mini-fridge. Our steward emptied the mini-fridge before our arrival. A 15 foot extension cord was needed to use a CPAP next to the bed, since the only outlets in the bedroom area are at the desk. There were only 2 of us in the cabin and we had ample room. I wouldn't try for 4 in this one.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – I didn't have an issue with noise.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Yes

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – unobstructed.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal

Was wind a problem? - not really but we didn't spend much time on the balcony.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - n/a

Any other comments? - coffee maker in cabin, small safe big enough for 15" laptop on the shelves next to the closet. wall mounted shampoo/combo and body wash in shower. One bar of soap provided by sink plus liquid soap dispenser. Ladder took up space in the closet. USB chargers in the two bedside lamps and one at the desk area by TV. also plug at both desk areas. hair dryer at desk near balcony. shelves behind door are awkward to reach. decent amount of hangers.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Could hear our neighbours talking loudly through the walls, also when their TV was loud. Sounds of the ship breaking through large waves were also obvious.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great view from high up, looking forward you are looking through the support structure for the bridge. We could see the officers working on the bridge at times (they waved to our kids), so if you are in to that kind of thing it was neat. Still a great view.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Cabin feels like a long way from most things. Food and drinks feel either very aft or very far down the elevators from this area of this ship (and they are). Still, a nice cabin and we enjoyed it. Just be prepared (and able) to walk distances.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes, very quite

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? – No

Balcony View (Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue.) –Amazing views 180 degrees. Sunset and sunrise are the best. It was the best view for the Panama Canal Cruise.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? – Oversized with 2 loungers, 2 chairs and table. You can look up to the bridge from the balcony, they can see part of your balcony. When sailing at night you are required to keep the blinds shut (or white lights off) while using the balcony so you don’t hinder the view of the bridge. The partitions to the forward balconies are at an angle so it is easy for your neighbors to see you. This didn't bother us at all.

Was wind a problem? – At times but it seemed to depend on which direction we were going. Not as much of an issue as we used the balcony quite a bit.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? – N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? – The forward cabins have double doors, the second one being a metal door for very rough sea protection. If the doors are left open, the air conditioner stops working.

Any other comments? - Our concierge was great - made up for the poor service from the butler.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – yes , except at night till about 11-midnight - could hear and feel bass from I suppose the Atrium - -not sure where,

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - yes, with 9614

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – perfect location and view midship

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal size balcony - tiny table about 12 inches square and 2 chairs -- just wish that darn railing was not at eye level when sitting down

Was wind a problem? - no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - just VERY small compared to other ship balcony cabins -- but ample storage and more hangers than normal.

Any other comments? - great midship location between 2 elevator hallways. Loved being over O'Sheehan's for early more coffee to bring back to balcony (did not want to fool with inroom coffee pot). Would book this cabin location again. Only issue was hearing music till later at night since we went to bed early.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very quiet.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - We were located behind the bridge, but the view was not obstructed.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Large balcony.

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Very nice mini-suite, plenty of storage. As has been mentioned often on these boards, only one outlet. It is the most forward passenger cabin on deck 11 starboard, but there are 4 more cabins forward that look like they are used for bridge crew.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Fairly quiet. Underneath the SPA. Occasionally I would hear/feel a thud that seem to come from somewhere deep inside the ship.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Yes - connects with a mini-suite.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Unobstructed view. If you look to the left, you can see officers in "wing" section of the bridge.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal.

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No problems, whatsoever.

Any other comments? - The Emerald Penthouse. Beautiful cabin. We had 3 adults in the cabin and it was very comfortable. Never felt as if we were on top of each other. I can't imagine 6 in this suite, however.

Balcony View - Clear, no real obstructions. It is not a perfectly clear view to the extent of a normal balcony. There is an angle slightly enclosing the forward seat on the balcony. Great if 1 person wants shade and the other does not.

Balcony Size? - Small but adequate. We went up to the haven sundeck. Used the balcony for morning coffee, usually.

Any other comments? - It was great. So bigggg. So much storage space. Didn't use 1/2 of it.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Relatively. Heard neighbors through the wall once. Balcony was noisy, seemed to be lots of people around us used their balconies and dragging chairs on balconies which was quite loud.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - When looking straight down over the balcony you looked straight onto the balcony of the mini-suites with large balconies on Deck 8. Bummer for them I suppose.

Balcony Size? Normal

Was wind a problem? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - Bed is next to balcony door which I liked. Good Cabin. Expect to do lots of walking, which you need to balance all the good food.
