Miami Cruise-port Parking

I also want to second parking at the port.

It is well worth the slight extra expense to come back from your cruise and know your car is in safe hands.

The port in terms of passengers terminals is smaller then Fort Lauderdale and parking is relatively close to the terminal.

Parking at POM is covered, convenient and secure - and costs $20/day. Lots of parking available - no need or ability to reserve a space. Have a great cruise and welcome to the boards!

FYI, effective 12/01/2017 the rate is now $22/day.

so is there tax on the $22 per day? Or just a straight $154 for 7 days???

I've heard it's cash only. Is that correct?

No tax on the parking.

From the port web site: "

All of our garages and Lot E accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or any major U.S. Traveler's Check.

No debit cards are accepted."

I'm in totally agreement with the others about parking at the port as the safest place in downtown Miami. As a local, there is no where else I would leave my car overnight.

As a first time driver to the port, I'll take the consensus and park at the terminal. Now my question is what time can I arrive and find a spot available?

I'm Diamond with Carnival, so I like to be among the 1st to board the ship - would 10AM be a good time to get to the garage?

I've always been able to find a space at that time, just sometimes have to be able to drive up to a higher level.
