Jewel of the Seas 1.18.19 - balconies gone!!!

Booked on this cruise in mid ship balcony, deck 8. Today, all balconies are on waitlist. Anybody know where they all went?

Could be all sold. We were looking for a balcony room in mid-January and found several cruises that had no balconies left. Also possible it's a temporary thing as Royal confirms availability with guarantee rooms.

Actually, there is one junior suite left, all categories, except insides and ocean views are currently waitlisted.

Mid January. MLK Holiday, lot of people are out of work/school. All my vacations were always over a Federal Holiday... Plus the smaller/older the ship the less Balcony's on it...

This is a 9 night cruise though, so I'm not sure MLK really plays in to it.

In the UK there are only 2 2d staterooms left for 2 people but if you key in that there are 3 people there are hundreds of empty balconies.

Good to know...........thank you. I was thinking that perhaps there was a potential partial charter. I'd hate for this cruise to be chartered, as we are cruising with 3 other couples and our friends are celebrating a 60th birthday.

What is the itinerary? I'm sailing on her that summer but it will be a Med cruise and there is plenty of space :)

Same here! We booked in January and all balconies were sold out, according to our travel agent. She even called RCL and they said the same thing.
