B2B questions

I am thinking of booking a B2B cruise in may. Are there any discounts when booking a B2B?

How does it work? Do we have to get off the ship and then back on for the second cruise?

Just curious. Trying to decide if I want to turn a 5 day cruise into a 9 day cruise/

you are booking 2 separate cruises, no discounts from Carnival, but a cruise T.A. might give you a Steakhouse dinner or other perks CCL might not. Depending on what ship either you will stay on the ship and clear customs in the showroom or you will briefly disembark with the other B2B guests, get a picture and a glass of champagne. The weirdest part of the B2B is the hour you are aboard with only staff and B2B guests, all food and bar services are closed. The computers reset about 11:15 for the next cruise. We just hung out in the Serenity area pretty much alone. We did get the first drink served for our next cruise as the bartenders already knew our names.

No discount as it is two separate cruises. At the end of the first cruise you will meet at Guest Services and when everyone else is off you will be escorted to Customs and back to the ship. You will then have the ship to yourselves for about 30 - 60 minutes before the new guests board.

Do you still have access to your cabin while everyone is getting off. I would make sure we have the same cabin for both cruises. Don't want to have to pack and unpack again for the second one.

Yes you will. Let the room steward know when you leave for breakfast and they will get your room done first.

Thanks for all the input. Still trying to decide.

How does the parking at the ports work for B2B? Usually when we drive, we have to pay upfront for the length of the cruise. Will the parking attendants notice if we are there longer? Or will too many people be coming and going at the end of the first cruise for them to notice.

Interesting questions come up when you try something new....we have done 20+ cruises but never a B2B. Always wanted to try one and the opportunity is opening up so we might.

5-->9 isnt bad. We did two 7 day in a row, and felt like it was too much.

we did a 10 and 11 day back to back on the Dream, never too much. What was it too much of, relaxation? I just didn't know if my liver could take another 11 days of Cheers. We survived.
