A Flash Promo is a last-minute promotion offered by Princess. They are not advertised and TAs get much less commission on them, but they are a deal if you can go on a cruise relatively soon.

For about a month I watched the cruise offerings for my spring break. We first wanted to do the Baltimore departur (Carnival), but that fare kept going up. Then I focused on san Juan and chose my favorite itinerary. I called Princess several times a day for prices and checked some internet cruise booking sites. When I called and got a flash promo($379 for 7 days) I jumped on the inside GTY. I kept calling every day for prices on an upsell but they were high. Then I was looking at my personalizer yesterday and saw an OV. Today I called to get a price for a balcony and the PVP said ,"You're in a balcony." So were our traveling companions. I'm sure this is my one amazing upgrade of my life and I'm so grateful.

How do they advertise flash promo? Where do you find out about them?

Congratulations, what a great upgrade! I keep checking my personalizer to see if I have an upgrade, but so far only a small one (several months ago). Hope I get a second upgrade!
