9 days until we sail out on Liberty of the Seas-1st cruise ever! I can barely sleep at night thinking of everything and not wanting to forget any small/large detail. Difficult when you dont know what to expect, but I know we'll have a blast either way :D

 

All else can be bought but your passport can't be. I have heard of people not getting to go because they didn't have the proper documents when they got there....that is my only nightmare....lol Have a good time

My goodness I am GIDDY today. We leave tomorrow a.m. early for FLL. Board on Saturday. I keep thinking about the people currently ON Oasis and how they are refusing to think "we only have one day left" while I'm constantly thinking "next week at this time I"ll be doing x, y and z".

We married right out of high school. We both came from limited income backgrounds. I went into the USAF soon after. Then kids came along and the normal pitfalls of life. When I finally retired she still had her DOD job and no chance of retirement for several years. Just as her retirement approached I got cancer and DW ended up retiring early to care for me. Now that I am almost recovered we decided it was time. We were confirmed on our first cruise just yesterday. We are going to the Eastern Caribbean and both anxiously looking forward to it. Thank you for asking.:):rolleyes:
