C & L Posted February 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2011 With My Time Dining are we able to ask for a fruit and cheese platter? I thought I read that some place, but want to be sure.
39august Posted February 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2011 You have the exact same menu as traditional dining. Last time I looked it was still an option.
joyride21 Posted February 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2011 Eight cruises and I have never seen anyone have a fruit and cheese plate at dinner...room service yes, and at Vintages, but not in the MDR. Perhaps it can be specially requested, but it is not on any menu I have ever seen. If it is available, I have learned something new today. :)
Jimnbigd Posted February 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2011 It was available on my last Voyager OTS (Dec. 2010), but not on the menu. Similarly Eggs Benedict is avaialble but not on the MDR breakfast menu. Odd.
mlmc424 Posted February 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2011 We had one every night on the Oasis. It was not on the menu but asked for one the first night and one appeared all subsequent nights.

tonit964 Posted February 18, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2011 My adult son doesn't like sweets so he gets the cheese and fruit for desert every night.

The wife did not care for sweets and received a fruit and cheese plate every night after asking the first night.
Kellie Poodle Posted February 18, 2011 #9 Share Posted February 18, 2011 Eight cruises and I have never seen anyone have a fruit and cheese plate at dinner...room service yes, and at Vintages, but not in the MDR. Perhaps it can be specially requested, but it is not on any menu I have ever seen. If it is available, I have learned something new today. :) We do traditional early seating. From the first night on, when I ask that it be brought to table every night, we've had a fruit and cheese plate. We always ask for enough for the whole table. They are mighty nice to have while waiting for the first course. You should try asking for it on your next cruise.

lakelorain Posted February 19, 2011 #13 Share Posted February 19, 2011 On Explorer in November, our waiters brought 2 fruit and cheese platters to our table every night as soon as we arrived. MDR, early seating, table of 8.
