Sounds similar to Century this year, only earlier in season.

Hi Rick !

Great news for Millennium, but this could be very bad news for Constellation fans. I've been concerned about Constellation's Caribbean itineraries, ever since I noticed she was headed to Miami. I'm wondering if Century returns to the 4/5 night sailings, and if Connie will sail 14 nights - from Port of Miami... Or, will Constellation be taking over the 4/5 night sailings ?

If it's the latter (and I believe the possibility just increased), the Constellation faithful will go crazy. We will see what happens.

This Connie fan is heartbroken. Guess I'd better enjoy December cruise to the fullest....

Maybe she will alternate? A 14 Night Sailing followed by a 4 night saling followed by two 5 night sailings and then another 14 night sailing.

I would be shocked if X completely abandoned the 14 Night Segment. Unless - that will be taken over by the Equinox, leaving the Silhouette to do the alternating 7 Night E. & W. Caribbean sailings, and the Connie the short cruise market.

If I read correctly, the Century will also be in Aussie land next Winter. So we will see if that changes too - bringing back the Century to Miami for the short caribbean itineraries and thus the Connie just changing homeports, but continuing the 14 night sailings.

CN is not going back to Australia. She is now slated to be in the Caribbean, it's just a matter of where. We'll know more once they release their Alaska itineraries in a week or two

Hi Rick !

I'd never speak for Perry, but one of the things that makes his performance work so well, is how he connects with his audience. This takes time. I cant see how he can have that connection on short sailings... but that's just my opinion.

Let's just say I hope that Connie will not be doing 4/5 night sailings, and leave it at that. I will have a great deal more to say (I'm sure many of the Connie / Perry faithful will too !), should this prove to be fact.

Eclipse is still missing. So possibly, Silhouette runs the 7day cruises from FLL, Equinox as it is now, the 10day ones, Constellation 14 day cruises from Miami and Eclipse 7 day cruises from Miami:confused: And Century remains for the short ones. What a nice illusion...

Hi Julie !

I've been suggesting the staggered sailings/itineraries idea for several years. While Celebrity does it to some extent, they should do far more. Should Connie be slated to do short sailings, why not mix in some longer sailings, such as 4/5/9, 10/4, 4/3/14, or 5/4/5/14. There's plenty of ways to make everyone happy.

I still hope it's Century back to Miami, and Connie stays on the Long Caribbean itineraries. We will see what happens.

Hi SoBe !

I'm wondering about that too. Eclipse could be the wild card in all of this. If Century does not sail the short sailings, perhaps Celebrity will think outside the box, and have Eclipse do the 4/5 night sailings. It's a gamble, but it's a great way to showcase the Solstice class product.

I'd take it one step further, and have Eclipse do a mix of 4, 5 and 9 night sailings. This offers more options for everyone.

Which date is the cruise which you have posted?

Are there other Hawaii cruises for Sep/Oct 2012 after Millie's Alaska season? ;)

Many thanks to all for informative heads ups. Looks like X is finally getting the idea .I agree Connie 14ners are great, done several. Even as solo. Hope they stay;Miami port would be even better. Europeans love X. Would love to see some RT 30Ners from West Coast like HAL, Princess do.
