Portable Cabana - Yeah or Nay?

I was just wondering if a portable cabana would be worth taking on our Southern Caribbean cruise? It would be a pop-up. We do have to fly, so I have to consider how to pack it. I am very fair skinned and we do hope to do some snorkeling and beach lounging. Never seen this mentioned before, maybe it's not something people ever do.

I don't think I would bother with it. Most beaches you can get an umbrella although they may charge you for its use during the day. Sure beats hauling it around.

I'd not bother with it. Adding the weight/taking up space sounds right up there with packing pop up hampers and over the door shoe holders. Leave your packing space for things you really need...only the necessities.

Do take plenty of sunscreen and a hat :)

Guess that was a lame idea. That's what happens when you spend too much time thinking about your cruise and how to make it perfect. I agree with you all and won't bother. I appreciate your responses.
