Oh well. Guess I'll just have to go ahead and book. Should've done it when I saw the codes about 10 days ago. Good thing my excursion is only $24.95!

 

Still, every dollar NOT spent on an excursion is another dollar I can flush down the toilet, er, spend in the casino! :p

I haven't seen anyone post any current codes in quite awhile (over a couple months).

 

Carnival's codes are usually for between 10-20% off. You can usually save 30-40% just by booking excursions directly and not going through Carnival.

 

Look through the forum threads for your particular ports to get the best information on who to book through.

Travelzoo has a special on shore excursions anywhere in the world right now booked through a private company. It's buy $50 credit for $25. You can buy up to two for each person, and it can be applied to a host of different excursions.

 

Thanks for the quick response. Not familiar with travelzoo. Doesn't sound like this can be used for carnival excursions on their website.???

I just used BGD001 and it took 10% off of my excursions!!!

 

The code was posted in another thread yesterday. I have 6 people in my party so this code added up!! I booked one excursion for 6 last night, then booked another excursion this morning - saved almost $100!!!!! I wasn't planning on booking those excursions until after final payment but who know when that code will expire! Luckily, I had already researched and knew what excursions I wanted through the ship vs. what excursions I booked on my own.

 

Great code though, I was looking forever last year on my other cruise and every code tht someone published it didn't apply. This is the first time I've seen a code work for me!

Can I take advantage of this if the excursions are already booked and paid for or would I have to cancel and re-book? I have a cabanna as one of my excursions and sure don't want to mess that up with canceling and re-booking.

We don't sale until August so I am hoping to get one before then :)

 

 

Try BGT002 for 10% or 20% off,. Some people were able to use that code on excursions within the next few months.

You'll have to cancel and rebook using the code. Are there other cabanas available in case yours get snatched up before you can rebook?

I actually posted this code on another thread. I had to book a cabana under my husband then went and cancelled the one under my name to get the discount. A few things to consider

 

#1-Make sure there is a cabana before you cancel. I wouldn't want to take the chance of not getting yours back in the few minutes it takes you to rebook.

 

#2-Once you cancel, it took about 4 days before the refund appeared on my credit card. So make sure you aren't in a rush to get the $$ back from the original booking.

 

Between my Cabana and Grand Turks excursion, I saved $44...I'm happy with that.

Thanks for the promo code folks! I didn't dare cancel & rebook my HMC cabana, as they have been sold out for quite some time now & I didn't want to risk not getting it back. But I did cancel & rebook another excursion & saved some moola for 4 people.

 

girlscruise, thaks for the info about the refund not appearing for a few days on your account. I wondered about that. They immediately took the money out for the re-book, but still nothing showing up as a credit yet, LOL..

good idea, if there are no cabana's left I wouldn't risk cancelling and rebooking and possibly losing it! Have a great time!
