That won't work. You need to save the file to your computer, someplace where you can navigate easily. Then instead of clicking the little image icon, click the paper clip icon and attach the file to your post. Here's a neat pick of my dog, Greta!:D

Does anyone know if its possible to order any off-list alcohol on NCL ships? Basically, all my wife drinks is Johnnie Walker (she doesn't drink a lot in our day-to-day real life, but on a cruise I could see her getting through a bottle of JW). The Bar List does not seem to include any JW products. Has anyone successfully gotten NCL to order something that is not on the list? Thanks.

The purpose of the list is to show everything that can be ordered. So...if it were possible to order something that isn't on the list, wouldn't that negate the purpose of the list?

I requested a specific brand and NCL replied that they did not offer that brand and shared what was on the "list" ... so that approach did not work for me, potentially others had success.

No service 15% charge , its ordered before boarding .;)

 

Responding to other question:

Also if you are not in a suite your odds of ordering something other than whats on the list is slim at best .

I have had success odering a different Bourbon , but only when in a suite.

And if its not in the gift shop forget it .

Yes and No . If its on the ship and depending on which stateroom your in , it can be ordered.

So if....according to your knowledge of the process...I can order stuff that is on the list, AND I can order stuff that isn't on the list, can you please explain the exact purpose of the list? Wouldn't it just be easier to tell people "Order whatever you want, if we have it, we'll give it to you?"

I wish I could give you an answer to your question but I can not.

What I can say is , They can be flexable in what you order even if it is not on the list . I know this becuase I have asked for and recieved Wild Turkey bourbon which of course is not on the list but in every bar on board.

Thats all I can say..

P.S. We are always in a suite , So ??? ;)

Thank you mpk218. When I spoke to Group Event Services yesterday, they said these brands were the only ones available for a bar set up. Of course we are in a balcony, so can't speak for those in suites, etc. We are on the Epic in November and the prices quoted are correct. Happy sailing to all! :)

We enjoyed the Sun out of Port Canaveral,plan on going 2011 & 2012,however living in Cocoa Beach we go on CC ships 4 to 5 times a year and FWIW you can buy booze for 1/2 the cost from room service or Bon Voyage.:)
