Carmel Flan from room service: Have you tried it?

Several years ago there were some posters saying that the carmel flan available from room service was really good. I have never actually tried it, but it certainly sounds yummy. If you've tried it....how was it?

Yes, it's pretty yummy. Especially with a club sandwich at 1 am after a night of drinks and fun. ;)

My husband and I always order it from room service at least once on every cruise. It's so yummy.

One of our favorites! Have only had it from room service, so really haven't seen it offered anywhere else on the ships. It is just soooo good. Hopefully you will love it also. I love custard and anything like that, so this is especially good.

I stand alone, I tried it and was less than impressed. For me, there was no flavor, and I didnt care for it at all. I much prefer vanilla pudding.

I love caramel flan, so I will have to be sure and try it out for myself when we sail on the Grand Princess in February. Hoping it will be great!

Is their caramel flan the same as traditional creme caramel with the sauce?

My recollection is that it wasn't what I would call a "flan", but creme caramel "in disguise". Very yummy.
