Like I mentioned before,I got that very same attitude(as Beth) with Willy on the FR.he very clearly let us know DP was not worthy of his time....he was only interested in the suite guests......

 

I second the idea of emailing someone like Adam about this.......I did....

 

I boarded FR last year after hearing great things about Willy. Although we did not experience any personal "dissing", neither DH or I cared for his attitude. One example that sticks in my mind is one night we were sitting with a group in the lounge and another couple came in who was asked to join us. Someone moved one of the nearby love seats over so they could sit (this was around 8:30 so not many people were there looking to use said loveseat). Willy ran over, grabbed the loveseat, and aggressively "flung" it back to where it had been, scolding us at that "It BELONGS over HERE". I didn't think about it at the time but perhaps it was because we were measly D+, and not suite guests. :rolleyes:

 

I have heard from Luca that he will be returning to Mariner for the April sailings and the TA. He was a bit unclear whether he would be going all the way to China on her. However, he will be reassigned after the re-po, but he doesn't know what ship. BTW, Sebastian, current concierge, is a honey...also cute. He doesn't know what his next ship will be when Luca returns.

 

Yay, yay, yay! I have heard from a friend who is on the TA who has been emailing Luca and he told her he will be there. As far as she could tell he will also be back for our 4/7 sailing, and your intel seems to indicate the same likelihood. :D

We knew the concierge well when Mariner was in LA.

We recently met Sebastian & he was very nice & friendly. We've never met Lucca but look forward to doing so. The Diamond concierge was also friendly but we did not get to know him at all as he was very busy. Both will be gone for the TA.

Luca told me before his vacation that he would be back on Mariner in April and would be going on her TA.

Yes, Sebastian said Lucca would be back for the TA. So will the regular diamond concierge. Both of the current concierges will be gone. Sebastian came from Navigator on short notice, so maybe he will go back there.

Has anyone heard how many Pinnacle & D+ will be onboard? Last year on Voyager there were so many that we took the entire Viking Crown including what would be the 19th Hole (but on Mariner is the Diamond lounge). The Diamonds were in the card room & room next to that.

He will be leaving the ship Saturday and heading home on vaction. We were on last week and he did a fantastic job. He is new but handles the job as if he were doing it for years.
