I got a note from him, too. I talked to him when he was in Falmouth on Wednesday, so I knew something was wrong.

I received an email from the concierge today for our upcoming Serenade cruise. The letter was signed by Mario Adonis Reyes. I will confirm who the regular concierge is onboard once I return in early November.

 

There was an odd message in the letter which may be due to the ship sailing in the Med. It said the Concierge Club was open to suite, Pinnacle, D+ and Diamond members. Interesting .....

The letter we received on Serenade last month was from Nadja, even though we were D+ and could use the Concierge lounge. She went on vacation a couple of weeks ago so I wonder if Mario is the Diamond Concierge as Rami had only just started as the Suite Concierge on our cruise. He was telling us about a memo he had just received saying how many D+ and Pinnacle members would be on the transatlantic so he was certainly expecting to be concierge then.

 

Not sure why the letter said the Concierge club was open to Diamond members - it certainly wasn't on our cruise as, even though we are D+, we were sailing with our sons who are Diamond and they weren't allowed in the Concierge lounge.

To those we have cruised EN lately and know Iryna Tsybulnykova(concierge),she is moving to the Explorer Oct 18th.She will be the loyalty and sales associate there.I know we are going to miss her....................Super nice person.I wish her well.

A gentleman who just got off Serenade came on our M&M thread after I posted here. He mentioned that Rami had an emergency and had to leave. I will update this thread when I return with dates and DL info since someone mentioned Nadja was off for a while too.

Just to let you know in relation to the Rhapsody, Amit is away on Compassionate Leave, Pretty is still on leave and Karen Hernandez is running both the Diamond and the Concierge Lounge (and doing a great job:D) whilst the ship is Chartered. I believe Amit is due back next week and Karen will then be in the Diamond Lounge until 12 December. Not sure about Pretty.
