What happens differently on a 10 night cruise? How many formal nights? Any special buffet? Booking 10 nights on VOS; please help with info. Thanks.

2Formal nights and some menu repeats in the MDR. That's about it.

There are no "repeats" of menus....you probably will have more sea days than port days...hubby hates that.

 

There is nothing "special"...it's simply longer!

This is one minor annoyance about cruise critic and no offense to either of these posters, but people will relate their experience as the absolute way it is. In my limited experience with this cruise line which is now 7 cruises in 6 years I've found that things change and at any given time not all ships operate the same way. I remember getting blasted to the point of abuse once when I mentioned my coke refill was poured from a 2 litre bottle on my cruise. I was told that all drinks are dispensed from fountains or cans they do not have 2 liter bottles. Maybe this is why some people take 1000 pictures, in case someone calls them a liar. ;) I know I've started adding IMO, or "In my experience" to posts.

More days on a cruise is always "special" to us, rather it be extra sea days, or port days. I agree, once you go for more days, you never want to take a shorter cruise. :D :D

Longer cruises - fewer children aboard. Really longer cruises - mostly 55+ aboard.
