Such a long harbor....I timed the Veendam last week and it was about 55 minutes from the pier to the bridge......

It's the Hudson River....it's VERY long.

First keep an eye on this webcam. Note: not a streaming webcam so you need to refresh it every 20 seconds or so:

It refreshes automatically every 30 seconds

 

After 15-20 minutes she should become visible in the Liberty cam, coming in from the top lefthand corner and moving towards the right of your screen. Make sure you click on Live streaming from the torch, to get the streaming cam!

this is a lot of complicated manoeuvering - I miss the Port Everglades Webcam and seem to be striking out - but I shall carry on;)
