Single lady in her late 40's (gasp) cruising with her teenaged son for the thanksgiving trip on Freedom (RC). I plan to enjoy meeting as many people as possible in all venues. Looking forward to the M & G and roll call get togethers.

I'm a single lady, 54, cruising on the carnival Fantasy October 21, 2014. There are some other single women who are also going. We'll all be having dinner together and I imagine will do things together at night but I expect to be solo during the day. For me, this will be a bit of a test to see if I would like sailing solo.

Carnival Liberty October 18, 2015

Carnival Liberty October 24, 2015 - this is a full charter cruise, Capital Jazz Super Cruise 9. Had such a good time last October that I had to do it again.

Is anyone going on either one of these?

I am thinking of going on my first singles cruise in June. None of my friends can go, so I thought I would try a hosted cruise where they will match you up with a roommate (single gal on a budget!) The Carnival cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale is an 8 night cruise (which would be a first) which includes Puerto Rico - which would be another first for me. I only have one left in high school and he is going on a school trip, so time for mom to fly solo!
