Need some hotel recommendations near cruise terminal in Fort Lauderdale. Also parking. We will be driving, have never sailed from this port. Thanks

We enjoy the embassy suites on 17th street. Beautiful pool, Nice free breakfast buffet, and a free happy hour between hours 4-6 with snacks. They will give you 2 at a time. Also shuttle service to the cruise port. The wine store was right down the street also. Outback, chucks steakhouse and an irish pub right across the road along with some diners.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express as well as Embassy Suites this year. Much prefer Embassy Suites.

I highly recommend the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale.

I would suggest you go to one of the hotel rating sites. We are staying at the Cambria Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. It is rated very well and the price is reasonable.

I like the Sheraton Airport which is very close to the piers.

Some hotels will let you leave your car there for the duration of your cruise if you stay one night. Check these chains to find out if they are still offering it: LaQuinta, Sleep Inn, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Airport, Fairfield, Cambria, Homewood. Renaissance has offered this for an upcharge to the room rate.
