the kids Posted November 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2012 The kids would like to know what days are set aside for the $10 shopping spree (lol) on the Allure of the Seas. Need to set aside some $$ for the bride (lol) Thanks
truffles2 Posted November 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2012 I don't know about Allure but 20% inflation has hit the Radiance. Last week the $10 items were $12!
edjny Posted November 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2012 We have found that generally, the stuff they roll out for the $10 sale day is mostly junk. I tried several times with the $10 t-shirts. They were great until they were washed and then they shrunk up enough to be unusable. The 'double xx' size shrunk down to a 'Large'. But different crap each day, one was watches the other was dollar store junk.
cruisinwithmaandpa Posted November 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 26, 2012 They had $10 bracelets similar looking to Pandora on the Majesty just before Thanksgiving. They were very nice looking. It was a mad house with everyone hovering over them. They also had purses and scarves. Watches were $20.
AFsouth Posted November 27, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 27, 2012 It's the same Bijoux Terner stuff that you can get in any airport for....wait for it.....$10.00!

Rare A&L_Ont Posted November 27, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2012 But hilarious to watch from the sidelines. I haven't seen people buy like it was the end of the world before. Get a seat at the Oasis or Allure pub, and you will have a laugh or two.
Langley Cruisers Posted November 27, 2012 #9 Share Posted November 27, 2012 In general, I have found the $10 items are for sale on sea days when people are bored and want to shop. :p The first one is usually the same day as the first Formal Night, so ladies can buy clutch bags and wraps in various colors. It's strategically planned. ;) .

cruisinwithmaandpa Posted November 27, 2012 #11 Share Posted November 27, 2012 The bracelets are Bella, they were $15-$40. My mother has worn hers quite a bit, and looks very nice. A lot more affordable than Pandora. They come with about 12 charms on them.
cruisegirl1 Posted November 27, 2012 #12 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I seem to always forget an evening bag so the $10 sale is a convenient and cheap solution. Once I forget my jewerly so two or three $10 necklace sets got me through the week. M
