Tortola Dropped?

Has Tortola been dropped from the Celebrity Caribbean cruises? I can't find it in any of the itineraries.

I do not believe that Celebrity is currently stopping at Tortola on a regular basis. I hope this helps !

Sadly the last few times we've been to Roadtown was on Princess. One of our favorite ports in the Caribbean.

Sadly, it doesn't help. We were there for the 1st time 2 years ago. We didn't get to see anything in Tortola because we took an all-day excursion to the baths in Virgin Gorda (which was FABULOUS!!). We want to re-do the cruise, but I guess we'll have to do without this stop.

Tortola had been one of my favorite ports. The snorkeling was just fantastic and the island is beautiful. I heard that the absence of commercialization was a factor as many passengers were not pleased with the lack of shopping opportunities. Other cruise lines stop there and that is a consideration for me for the future.

We really enjoyed Tortola as well. One of the most beautiful islands in our opinion and we'd gladly go back (and actually get off the ship!).

I agree...we loved Tortola too. A much better choice than Falmouth, Jamaica!

Sadly, we didn't get to see much of Tortola, as this was an all-day excursion -- but, well worth it!

The 27 Apr 2013 Summit repositioning cruise stops in Tortola. It is not a full day but there is an excursion to Jost Van Dyke.

I LOVE Tortola. Celebrity can deep six St. Thomas any day for Tortola as far as I'm concerned.

We also enjoyed Tortola very much. I would much prefer that to Falmouth Jamaica also. Our March cruise stops in Jamaica and we are likely to not get off the ship.

We're just back from our cruise (P&O) and thoroughly enjoyed Tortola. For US$20 pp you can do a 2 hour tour of the island in one of the open-sided buses which were right at the cruise terminal. Particularly enjoyed trying a 'painkiller'. Would much prefer this island to Jamaica anytime.
