jewels89 Posted March 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Just wondering if there is a covered pool area on the Navigator? Thanks in advance!
LuckiStac13*Majesty* Posted March 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Hi, there's a solarium technically, but it is not covered. All open :)
UCF_Knight Posted March 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Nope. Voyager class does not have a covered solarium.
jewels89 Posted March 27, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Thanks for the answers! Hopefully we will still be able to handle laying out during windy days and rough seas :)
Jimnbigd Posted March 27, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2013 I'm glad it is open. On my Splendour and Rhapsody OTS, the covered solarium was very noisy -- no where for the noise to escape.
Rare Teeara Posted March 27, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Here's a photo of the Solarium on Navigator. You can see others if you go to Google and search "Navigator of the Seas Solarium photos". As the picture shows, there are covered parts of it up against the windows. cb at sea Posted March 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Even on the pool deck, it's not windy in the center of the deck....it's windiest along the railings! If it's sunny, you'll most likely welcome some breeze!
Rare Teeara Posted March 27, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Here's another photo showing the Solarium area closer to the windows. This is the covered portion.

travelplus Posted March 27, 2013 #10 Share Posted March 27, 2013 I hope we will have sunny and warm days on the Navigator from New Orleans-Rome. Anyone know if the seas are calm around the Azores? I like the open Solairum so I can tan. Remember that inside there are chairs and an indoor spa on the cool days. In the Spa there is a free Talassotherhapy pool as you enter. The the therurapy pool has strong jets and is warm. Its only free to Cruise Critic Members who sign in at the spa with their username:D
