Are "polo-type" shirts fine in the main dining room?

I understand the attire for formal nights, but I wanted to double check on the type of shirt for the other nights. I assumed that a "polo type" shirt/knit shirt - some even call them golf shirts would be fine - paired with slacks.

 

Thanks - our other cuises have been during colder weather and to cold places - and longsleeve shirts have been fine.

Polo style shirts with collars are just fine and I wear them often on non formal nights. But I suspect you will still see T-Shirts without collars as well.

Collared shirts are specifically noted in the description as acceptable dress for smart casual evenings.

DH always wear "golf shirts" on non formal evenings and seems to be the favorite others as well on Celebrity cruises.

Yes, polo shirts/golf shirts, fine in MDR on non formal nights, I always wear them.
