UPDATED List of Current Cruise Directors (CD)

Recommended Posts

I have no personal experience with Clo, but she only gets positive and glowing reviews here, and she is often named as a favorite CD and one of RCI's best. I can't recall ever reading or hearing one negative comment against Clo.

Thanks DonnaK! Fingers crossed for a great cruise in a few weeks :-)

We had Clo 10 yrs ago on the Explorer and loved her. She was funny and made everything so much fun. Our young adult kids loved her as well and STILL talk about her.

We just got off the Brilliance eastbound TA and Clo was the CD. We have sailed with her several times, the first time being on the Brilliance's inaugural westbound TA in 2002. She was a wonderful this year as she was 12 years ago. Always visible around the ship, quite personable with a great Irish sense of humor. Be sure to join her on one of her daily mile walks (8am or 2pm) and don't miss her Love & Marriage game. We are hopeful that she will be back on board for our October repo cruise from Boston to Tampa. I am one of those who lists Clo, along with Joff Eaton, as being among the very best of RCI's cruise directors.:)

I totally agree. We had her on the Explorer 10 years ago as well and she's still one of my favorite CDs. Unfortunately, I have yet to experience her again.

With that being said, due back on the Explorer in October. Anybody have any experience with Keith Williams?

I'm not sure how typical I am of Royal passengers, but I thought Keith was good, second (after John Blair) of the 4 or 5 CD's I've experienced.

Curious what is up with Radiance...Amy Fickert was the CD this past week when we were on our Alaska cruise...at least through May 16th.

Got to meet with here twice...and she did a great job by the way...

What do you mean, what's up? As I read the list she should be on through mid to late August. Have you seen something different?

We also love Clo and keep looking for a cruise to sail with her again. We did the Baltic on the Jewel with her as our CD and she is one of our top favs. She does the Brillance out of Tampa in the winter- and we live near Ft. Lauderdale- but some year may have to take the drive to sail with her again. But maybe a crossing would be better!!

Also loved Richard Spacey- but he now corporate. Another great one was Joeff Easton.

You were probably looking at an old list from one of the earlier pages, and not the current list on this last page.

According to the current list:

Radiance OTS - Amy Fickert starts April 27 for approx. 4 months.

Does anyone know where the Blairs are working? John Blair and his wife were an amazing CD/Activity Team!

We'll be on the Voyager for our NZ cruise in February, 2015. Is it too early to ask who the CD will be? If anyone knows who it is, what are they like?

Thanks in advance :)

Way too early to know. We likely wont find out until the Australian season begins in December.
