“Live” from the "Enchantment of the Seas" July 19-26,2013 Back-2-Back

Recommended Posts

We love an empty ship on turn around day! So peaceful, until the new passengers come aboard. Not sure this is the case on all cruises, but on a few B2B, we’ve heard the announced staff/crew “pep talk” noting the number of passengers, number of children etc.

Have a great second cruise

On Coco Cay they have these exercise things. So since I was doing my cardio on the island with my walk I looked and did each exercise in my mind. Below are some examples. It wore me out I had to take a nap under a palm tree.

Turn around was pretty quick and painless. We were off and back on the ship in about 15 minutes. There are actually 12 of us doing a B2B, one couple will be on the next cruise doing three B2B.

Went to my room for a bit to put a charge on my phone. Being back here at port and uploading pictures sure does suck down the battery pretty quick. Was about an hour of a ghost ship. Was pretty cool. When I came back up people were boarding. Close to 11.

Norwegian Gem is docking now and is our port mate today.

Can someone remind me what all the upgrades were on the Enchantment this past fall so I can snap pictures on this leg I may of missed the first leg? Some of the items I know I got such as the big screen and rugs, but know they had more than that. :-)

I'm interested in the Royal Tots nursery. Not sure if they let you in without having kids, but curious on the set up for my friend who is sailing with me.

Park Cafe in the Solarium. Not sure how I missed not eating in here on the first leg other than late night pizza.

Really enjoying your review and can't wait to be on one week from today!! Could you do me a really big favor? I have been trying to find the cruise compass for the Teen group and have not been able to find one anywhere. Do you think you could get a hold of one and post it? I think it's only two pages for the whole week. I'm trying to schedule things so that me teenager can participate in most of the teen activities. I would really appreciate it.

The only other changes I remember from the 2005 upgrades are the bungee trampolines and the kids splash zone.

Thanks for the list. Only a few things on the list I missed.

I'll check on getting the kid weekly compass and post.

that would be great to see the kids compass as well. My son will be in the 3-5 group and my friend has a 2 year old, so she's interested in the nursery.

This review has been so wonderful! Thanks!!

In case you're not familiar with the kids areas, the teen area is separate from the kids area. The compass for the teens (the one I need) would probably be in the teen club (I think it's called fuel). That is also a product the 2005 enhancements.
