Just off the Carnival Breeze

After reading everybody else's reviews I figured I owed one.

We arrived at the Miami port at about noon. I had purchased the FTTF for my room only. I did not purchase it for my two teenage girls room. (Ages 15 and 17). They put the FTTF sticker on all four of our sign and sail cards. We got a priority card and immediately got on the ship.

We went directly to our cabin. Unfortunately, we had Room 8336 and the luggage for 8436 was at our cabin door. Small mixup, but I told the steward and it was fixed shortly after that. My daughter's had Room 8338 directly across from us. The rooms were wonderful. Roomy, clean and had plenty of storage. First time on this floor and we totally loved the location.

We had dinner in the Blush dining room every evening. The service was perfect and the food was wonderful. Many choices. You can always find something to eat. We also ate breakfast in the Saffaire dining room most mornings. Fresh wonderful breakfast. Lunch we ate on the Lido deck. We loved the Mongolian Grill although it was often a long wait. But so worth it. We also loved the burgers, sandwiches and fresh salads.

Some shows were better than others. We especially enjoyed the show, The Brits. We liked the graphics and animation along with the singing and dancing. We love to spend our evenings in the casino so a short show is perfect for us. Wasn't a Broadway musical, but good enough for a cruise ship and an evening of entertainment.

We spent most days by the pool and hot tubs. Weather was a little rough the first few days, but none of us got sick so it didn't matter to us. They reversed the order of the stops and that didn't matter either since we had no excursions booked. Grand Turk we spent the day at the pool at Margaritaville. Ocho Rios we stayed on the ship and enjoyed the empty ship. We had the pool to ourselves. Nassau we got off and walked around and then got back on the ship. We traveled with a group of nine family members so spending time together at the pool was exactly what we wanted to do.

Debarkation was a breeze. Took SAS transportation to Fort Lauderdale airport. They are a wonderful inexpensive service.

All in all a wonderful cruise. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. Beautiful ship and well worth the money.

Thanks for the feedback.

Do you remember what kind of water amenities were available at Margaritaville in Grand Turk?

We only spent the day at their pool. I know they have a small beach but we didn't go and see it.

Thanks for the review - Can you tell me what dining time you had - we are doing the 8:15 and was wondering what dining room you were in.

Can you tell me more about the ship - what areas did you love? Did the ship ever feel crowded? Is there a not to be missed something on the ship?

We have not done this size ship so I am super excited :D

Glad to hear you had a great trip

Good to see you enjoyed the cruise. DW and I are thinking of sailing Breeze for the 6 day sailing. Ports on the 8 day are more appealing, but DW doesn't want to sail that long.

You could always sail the eight day and after day six drop her off

sorry I couldn't help myself

My apologies; I missed the humor in this

I missed the seriousness in this.

OP, I apologize if you took offense. I like to see pictures with reviews but I don't REALLY think the thread is worthless. That would be making things way too serious. I am very happy you had a great time. I thought the icon was cute and had no idea people would take it so personally. I've seen it used dozens of times and never seen anyone upset about its use.

Thanks for the report! What seating did you have for dinner? I've always done late but switched us to anytime so we'll see how this goes. 55 more days! :D

We did the early seating at 6pm in the Blush Dining Room. We really enjoy the evenings on the ship so this dinner time worked well for us.
