Players Club Free Cruise

My parents got a letter from the Carnival Players Club giving them a free cruise if they book by Tuesday and sale between now and December. Has anyone ever done this? Do they give you the worse cabin on the ship?

I also need to find out how much they are really gambling...they say not alot but I've never been offered a free cruise!:(

I have gotten several "free" cruises and I don't consider myself a major gambler, they might think otherwise though... lol. I do get my DOU card by day 2 usually.

But I am curious, why are you needing to find out how much they are really gambling?

I doubt you'll hear back from the OP, since this thread is 3.5 yrs old. To lorddog, who resurrected it, the free bounce back offers are on extremely limited sailings. And if you find one that will work, you need to book it immediately, because they go quickly.

Do you know if the Casinos are still offering the Bounce Back? I thought I read here that it was stopped but can't find the post.

If they got offered a free cruise they are gambling thousands(depending on what they play). Comps from Carnival are not like here in AC :)

Not necessarily. My sister gambles much less than I do, she just doesn't get excited about it. She got a free cruise offer, I have not. I think it depends on how much you spend in comparison to other gamblers on that specific cruise. You may only play $50 per day, but if others only play $30-40, than you will get the offer.

I just started with my last cruise and did a cruise holdem table. I probably was in there 40 hrs on a 7 day cruise. but my mistake was I never cashed out my chips until the last day.

and I did play 1/3 of my time by myself so I put in many many hands of plays. I won each night about $200 for a total at the end of $1500. this was 2 months ago and I don't think I am getting any offers.

I looked into the carnival login under offers and there is nothing there.

they told me I had earned 70 entries into the last night givaways.and I had gotten a free drink pass card as soon as I walked up the second night.

I am guessing that I made the mistake of not cashing out each night.

That's interesting Lorddog. I know my husband cashes out his card often. I would say if there's over $50 cash on it by especially at the end of the night, he cashes out. Never even thought of that. If he wins a jackpot, he cashes out and we put the cash in the safe mostly because if it's on the card you're more likely to put it back in the machine.

It has absolutely nothing to do with anyone else onboard. Its points and points add up by bet amount and time nothing else. Its a formula

I cruise twice a year, drop between 4-5 K per year in their casinos and did not get the offer. I usually get 50$ comp at the cage...

Wow! I normally get that for loosing $200-400 max on a 5 day cruise! Carnival must be TIGHT on their comps. I know that it is not like Vegas, but I didn't know it was that bad.

This is ABSOLUTELY true. The casino is given a set # of bounce backs to offer each cruise. If there are a ton of high rollers playing in the casino (think $50-100 per hand on blackjack), THEY will get the offers.

DH and I sailed on a spring break cruise in March 2016 and while we didn't rack up a lot of points, compared to most of the "kids" playing in the casino it was a lot so we were offered a BB. Fast forward to our July cruise on the Magic where we were consistently playing BJ with above mentioned high rollers. We didn't do anything different from our March cruise, in fact we probably played/risked more on the July cruise. No BB for us on this cruise, but I did hear the high rollers talking about getting the offer in their mailbox on the last night of the cruise. It's all relevant to who else is playing in the casino and how much they are playing/risking.

Might be a pack and play offer. Usually shorter length cruises.

In 2016. All 3 cruises of mine were free. 14 days on pride. Sunshine in Aug and NYE out of Miami thru carnival.

People whom complain wont help anytging. I also believe u can choose what cabin type u want for an additional upgrade.

This is absolutely not true. It would appear that the way they choose this is simply random luck of the draw.

The DH and I usually drop several hundred in the casino each cruise. Never been offered. Couples we cruised w/ last year March dropped about $5K each cruise for 4 in a row ... never been offered. A friend of ours mother went about 8 months ago and only spent $300 in the casino and got the offer 3 mos later. Go figure.

It does appear though to be offered (at least from what I've heard) to those who do not have other cruises booked already and can sail in a shorter amount of time.

Definitely cannot have another cruise booked. Had in law spend $20 total and got bounce back-it was her first carnival cruise. Yes $20 total...I earned 3500 points and got nothing on same cruise. We were on this cruise from a free previous bounce back for both my wife and I. Thus two rooms with 5 people. After that cruise, the premier offers started for both my wife and I.
