Radio, did you notice, or hear of any sewage issues?

I just read a post from someone who was on the 10/25 sailing.

They said there were some problems.

I was on the 10/25 sailing. I remember getting a note in my cabin one day (it was either day 2 or 3) stating that a main line burst. Some cabins (we were on 8) were not able to flush between 2 am and 7 am. The note was an apology for anyone who may have been inconvenienced. I was up at 7:30 and had no problems flushing so I would assume it was a very short lived problem.

"2am to 7 am". That's good, if you're going to have flush problems, that's a good time for most. ;) I think at those hours a lot of people would have never known.

Thank you.

Very true. I just read another thread where someone said there were problems twice on their 10/25 sailing. We only had the one note and yea, you are right. I was dead asleep between 2 and 7 ;-).

Hello everyone. . .Good morning, and Welcome to Day 7 of “LIVE” from Grandeur of the Seas.

I had a great dinner last night and I am not really a big fan of the lobster tails, but I love Baked Alaska ! Many of the Waiters , Bar staff, and Chefs were introduced last night and they all received applause by passengers who had great food all week. The Executive Chef, thanked the dining room, and galley crew as they worked very hard all week.

The Captain and Officers were all dealers last night in Casino Royale, but it didn’t last long. . .I guess Casino Royale didn’t want them to give away all of the money ! I will stop down at CR for a little while today for my final day. . . I was able to gain enough points for several entries in the Quantum of the Seas Cabin giveaway . . . I can’t wait to sail Quantum.

There will be lots more activities today, as passengers enjoy the great weather (Sunny Skies, and a light breeze) I will be relaxing and playing cards in the Solarium with friends for awhile, and may do some last minute shopping in the Shops Onboard . . . This is a long day for them as they remain open from 9AM to 11PM.

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning ! Thanks for the nice comments. . .and thanks for tuning in !

I'm trying to get some pictures of layout of viking crown lounge on Grandeur of the Seas. Planning on having my wedding there. If you could please take some pictures for me that would be great. Thanks!

If you're planning to have your wedding in the Viking Lounge, RCI will gladly help you with this. From what I've seen of the same lounge, on the sister ship (only difference is the Enchantment had a section added to the center), this would be a beautiful location! Best of luck & enjoyment in planning!

Radio:. We are thinking about Bermuda next summer. What about Quantum has you wanting to sail her?

We have never been to Bermuda but, have been on the Enchantment so would not wish to sail the same class again.

We are considering Explorer OTSeas. Are the scooters 2 cruisers friendly? ;)

Which sailing of Quantum are you on? My husband and I are doing the 11-23-14 inaugural. Will we finally get to meet you?

Hello everyone. . . Today was a lazy relaxing day. After the beautiful sunrise this morning, I thought it was going to be a beautiful day. I thought wrong. . .most of the day was thick clouds and rain. It just started to clear up at about 4PM. Most of the activities that were scheduled for the pool deck were brought inside.

I was able to attend the “Captain’s Corner” this afternoon which was very good. It is nice to hear officers from the ship answer many questions from passengers. It lasted for about an hour today because many passengers asked questions. I still have to see a Centrum WOW show tonight before dinner and the Farewell Show after dinner.

We are currently about 30nm from the Pilot Station (just east of Virginia Beach.) We should be picking up the pilot at about 8:15PM and that is about 30 minutes south of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. The Captain suggested that we would be passing under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge at about 5:00AM. We are scheduled to arrive at Cruise Maryland by 7:00AM.

Here are a few pics from this afternoon. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Mark, I'm so sorry the weather didn't hold out for you! Our last Bermuda cruise had lots of rain. It's still, somehow, nice to be on the ship! It's going to be 40, here, in O.C., tonight. Have a safe trip home! Maybe our paths will cross, on a future cruise!:)

Hello everyone. . . Good morning. Welcome to DAY 8 of “LIVE” from Grandeur of the Seas.

I had a great dinner last night at Chops with a few friends. I must say that the steaks at Chops are so delicious, that it would be nice to eat there every evening. The sides and desserts are wonderful as well. I thought that all of the dining choices were very good, but Chops may be the best.

I was able to catch the Centrum “WOW” show last night. They offered 2 shows at 6:30 and 8:30, and it was short but may have been one of the best shows. This is only offered on the final night. I stopped by the Farewell Show for a moment before making my final contribution to Casino Royale.

We are about an hour away from Cruise Maryland where over 2000 passengers will be waiting with anticipation to board the beautiful Grandeur of the Seas. It is very cold outside 40F, but no rain or winds. The passengers waiting to board will be heading to the Bahamas and I know it will be warm there. . .

I had a great time for this cruise and it was nice to post “LIVE” once again. Thanks for all of the many nice comments, and thanks for tuning in !

Beautiful pictures!

So sorry about the rainy weather. That happened to us~~it rained every single day we were there.

Although the sun came out in full force the minute the ship started to leave.

No matter what the weather we still had a great time on a beautiful island.

Thanks again for your review

Liz:)

Hello everyone. . . Good morning. I got in line this morning for Self Debarkation at around 6:30AM. At that time there were only about 10 passengers in line.. . .

No breakfast, and no coffee. . . argh:eek: Oh well, I can have plenty when I get home.

The gangway was attached to Grandeur at 7AM, and I was free to get off at about 7:10AM. I went through the Terminal quickly and was in the parking lot by 7:20 !

I had to get off of the ship early today because Mrs Radio needed to pick me up and get to work.

I have dozens of images that have not been posted yet, but will appear on my photo album over the next couple of days.

I also will be posting each Cruise Compass and other info. . .

Thanks everyone for tuning in !
