Checking out the pizza - as mentioned, IMO, Carnival's is superior

I think they tended to undercook (ignoring the pepperoni slice in the picture). The pepperoni slice was actually the best one I had.

Hello Sargent:

I was on the same cruise with you and took some of the same photo's. However, mine, compared to yours, look like I produced them with a Number 2 pencil. I showed some of yours to my Wife and she really liked them also.

My questions to you is, what camera and lens are you using and what setting did you use for the indoor photo's

Thanks.

Bob

Hi Bob,

A Nikon D7000, mostly with a 18-200mm zoom and also a 10-24mm zoom for the wide angle. Being lazy, I like to try to leave it on automatic, either with or without flash enabled. Sometimes I have to switch to manual to get a reasonable shot. The camera is great up to about ISO 6400.

If there is a particular picture you had in mind, I can probably check exactly what the settings were.

Thanks for responding so quick. I was using a Nikon Coolpix P500. However, with Christmas coming I will be dropping big hints for a different camera. Will want one before next cruise so I can get to know it and how to use it.

You're welcome. You can get a D7000 for a good price these days but it has been superseded by D7100. Not sure if the 7100 is worth the extra money, but also haven't tried it.

Hi Sargent, I'm still here. Loving the photos of this beautiful ship. Keep the food shots coming too. Enjoying your comments also. Very concise.
