Black Friday / cyber Monday?

Does carnival ever have either of these type one day sales and what are the deals usually like if they have them?

On my last Tgiving cruise there were sales in the shops for Black Friday.

Carnival used to have a 12 days of Christmas sale every year, but they stopped doing it a few years ago. Here's an old post from 2006 that outlined what they offered. It was a different offer each day for 12 days. Part of Carnival's good ole days.....

I would be happy with a reduced deposit sale :).

 

I hate paying $500 now to cruise solo in 2015 which equals just under 60% of the cruise total :(

I will be on the look out to see if anything will be offering. I'm on the fence to try another line next year.

There may not be any Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.. but WAVE season is just around the corner!!! Trying to hold back booking something for next summer until then......

My first cruise was a 12 Days of Christmas cruise. We did a 4 day out of New Orleans for $129 (including tax) on the Fantasy. There were a handful of rooms and you had to get through first on the phone to get the deal. We also had free airline tickets thanks to a AirTran promotion so the whole shebang was less than $400 for three of us. Glorious!

I got great airfare on Cyber Monday last year!

My biggest complaint is the amount of deposits make it like 50 or 100 per person flat. I mean the deposits are non refundable anyway for the most part.
