Hello all -

We are scheduled to depart FLL on May 3 on the Oasis of the Seas for our 60th Birthday Cruise. We have reserved a pre-cruise room at Best Western International. Prices seen good. We were wondering if anyone else had stayed here. ? Good neighborhood (two ladies traveling) and any other comments you may have.

Thanks!:)

I would recommend also checking out the reviews on Tripadvisor. I'm not sure if this is your hotel, but you can do a search (they show 2 Best Westerns): http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34227-d80513-Reviews-BEST_WESTERN_PLUS_Fort_Lauderdale_Airport_Cruise_Port-Fort_Lauderdale_Florida.html. Have a great Oasis birthday cruise! :)

FYI, Cruises from this port at the end of April/early May run into Fleet week adn hotels fill out real fast. The top 5 or 10 most commonly used cruise hotels fill up in January for that weekend. (FYI, in case you think about changing)

Ive stayed at the Best Western Cruise Port Hotel, in Fort Lauderdale it is a nice hotel, Very clean and close to many restraunts and a liquor store and a grocery store.. I am staying there again in May.. The Shuttle to the cruise port is 8$ a person and pick up from the airport is free

I would pick something near nicer places. Check out The Doubletree at the Galleria Mall and the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas. I think you would at least like to walk to a nice meal the night before your cruise.

That's good to hear. We are staying there for the first time in March as we got a really good rate thru LastMinuteTravel. Unfortunately, they were not available for our January cruise.
