Love the picture your dad's face close up and the ship in the background. I love pictures like that, with a close up and then an object in the background. You should frame that one!

 

 

Yeah you are so right. I love that picture too. My dad will say that he doesn't like it because he doesn't have his glasses on....he never goes without his glasses. I'll get the photo framed and surprise him

Yeah pictures like that one are some of my favorites. You really get to see how big the ships really are. You will love the Sunshine.

I hope you’re staying warm, your weather is coming to us again in the Northeast. That pic of u and dad with ship in background is a frame pic.

I remember on the OAS (Royal) I took a pic of the closing doors in the Gangway and was yelled at no pics. It must be a security on all lines.

We're trying to stay warm but Mother Nature is making it pretty hard on us. Our high tomorrow is gonna be -10....baby it's cold outside. This winter season has been brutal!!!!!!

 

I took a lot of great pictures that are good for framing. I like to make big collages with a 2 foot by 3 foot frame. It's a great way to display the photos. That way you're able to see them everyday.

Well once we got back to the ship we sat out on the balcony for a while and then we got cleaned up and headed up to Lido Deck for some lunch

I wanted to try something different for lunch today so I tried the Chicken Tacos at the Blue Iguana Cantina. They were very good

 

As usual my dad ate at Guys Burger Joint again. I think he ate lunch there everyday

Pizza Place....I never did try the pizza on the Carnival Sunshine

 

Who wants a Beer???

 

 

The Chicken Tacos didn't fill me up so I wanted to try out Cucina del Capitano. You get a slip of paper to fill out your order and then you return it to the counter where they make your order.

 

 

Then when you turn your order slip in you get a beeper to alert you when your order is ready to pick

While I was waiting for my lunch to get ready I went over to the Havana Bar to get my dad and I a couple diet cokes

 

This is a nice place to sit and enjoy your lunch. It is much quieter back here

 

 

There's my lunch from Cucina del Capitano. I ordered the penne pasta with meat sauce and Italian sausage

 

Gotta have some dessert to complete a great lunch

After lunch we returned to our balcony to enjoy the sunshine for a while

 

The water in Grand Cayman is soooo blue

 

 

These were the life boats for the Costa Luminosa ship and they were being used as their tender boats. When they returned to the ship full they were so low in the water. I was just waiting for them to take on water :p

For lunch it is included but at dinner time it is a $12.00 per person charge

Tonight was the Past Guest party. My dad like to go to this to see how Diamond and Platinum members are onboard

After the past guest party we headed to dinner in the Sunrise Restaurant

 

My favorite spot on Serenity Deck. Every night after the show or dinner I always went up to the Serenity area to take a nap in a clamshell. I want one of these chairs for our patio at home

Well that is the end of our day in Grand Cayman and our night onboard the Carnival Sunshine. The next day of our cruise would bring us to Cozumel, Mexico

I don't why they won't let you take pictures at the gangway. You could take pics when you're on the tender as you're pulling up next to the ship.

 

I've still got plenty more photos to post so don't go anywhere just quite yet :-)

Those desserts were a carrot cake cupcake, key lime cheesecake, and black/white tuxedo cake. The key lime cake was soooooo good. They better have that onboard the Dream in April

Great pictures. Carnival should hire you to take their publicity pictures and not the film crew. Looking forward to Cozumel!
