Coffee Card - What is it good for and where?

A coffee card will get you 15 specialty coffees (latte, expresso, capachino, etc). In addition, as long as you have at least one punch left, you get unlimited brewed coffee and special teas.

Can these specialty coffees and brewed coffee be filled anywhere, like in any restaurant or MDR, or just at the coffee bar?

You can get the speciality coffee "the good gear" in at least international cafe, crooners bar (depending on ship) the main pool bar.. Usually calypso... And all of the dining rooms.. It can be used for any size espresso based drink so if you fancy a double or a triple shot go for it :)

There will be lots of staff selling them throughout the ship. You can however pre buy them from Princess. Saves you a couple of bucks on the coffee card but not the soda package. You call 1-800-PRINCESS and its option 2 on the voice menu. You will get a service agent and they will help you out. All you need is your booking number and a credit card. Just did it for our Apr trip.

That was the "unwritten rule" with the old coffee cards. The back of the old cards stated "Congratulations on purchasing your Premium Coffee Card. Present this card when receiving your specialty coffee and your server will punch a hole into one of the crowns." The back of the new coffee card states " Present this card when receiving your specialty coffee and your server will punch a hole into the card. Unused specialty coffees redeemable on next voyage. Complimentary coffee and tea only applicable to voyage of purchase." There is no requirement to have an unused punch to get complimentary coffee and tea on the voyage of purchase.

Can the card be shared? For instance, one card for a husband and wife to use together?

The punches can be shared with as many people as you like.

The unlimited freshed brewed is intended for the person who purchased the card.

Coffee card is $31 in advance and $33 on the ship. Some posters have said they were charged sales tax in I believe Flordia when they bought it on the ship prior to sailing. This has never been the case with an online purchase prior to sailing. What you see in the price list is what you pay.

The coffee card was also good for complimentary hot chocolate in addition to the specialty teas at the coffee bar. That was a great benefit on our southbound cruise in Alaska.

Do they punch the card for Hot Chocolate?

Is the price the same, no matter how long the voyage?

Yes, because the punches do not expire and you can use them on future cruises.

The unlimited fresh brewed coffee is limited to the voyage you purchased the card for.

Can you buy the coffee cards online? I tried finding it on the Princess site but couldn't find anything.

Café Selects Coffee Card:

Enjoy 15 espresso-based hot or cold specialty coffee drinks along with complimentary brewed coffee and premium tea for the duration of your cruise.

Item #524 – $31
