New Westerdam Review with lots of pictures and menus

I thoroughly enjoyed your review and photos. I must tell you that I discovered your web site in 2007 and used your trip report to plan a Greek isles trip on Princess. Then I used your South America trip report two years ago to plan private tours and port visits. We also used your tour guide recommendations in Italy, we particularly enjoyed your Amalfi coast friend and tour guide, Marcello.

We are getting ready to go on our first Oceania trip next week and noticed you are posting over there! preparing for your first O trip. I wish I had your insights regarding Oceania and I look forward to your comments.

We have taken quite a few Holland America trips and your observations were spot on. You are great ambassadors for all things travel.

I am glad you enjoyed it. Have a great time on the Westerdam in Alaska. We are visiting Alaska in early June, but not on the Westerdam. Looking forward to returning to Alaska. Just a gorgeous part of the world.

Glad to hear you had a good experience on HAL and would sail them again. I'm 61 and have been on HAL ships since I was in my late 40s and don't get all the "old folks" comments.

Glad you enjoyed it. We have just returned from China, S. Korea, and Japan. You can look for that review in about three weeks. It was a fabulous, once in a lifetime trip. :)

Looks like I made a great choice choosing Westerdam as my first HAL after so many Carnival cruises. The pools look huge. I noted the white leather was to be replaced in the theater, I didn't like the way it looks white like that. Must be hard to keep clean!
