Meatman1 Posted June 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Hi, I was wondering if the ship's temperature is nice or do you feel it was cold? Will I need a robe in the room? Is the theatre cold? I think you get what I am looking for. Thanks in advance.

obnurse Posted June 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2014 I am always cold, especially in the theater. I sometimes forgo dresses in the evening and instead wear slacks to stay warmer. I try to bring different cover-ups to go over my evening wear. Your cabin is temperature controlled to your liking. We turn the temp down while we are showering and getting ready for dinner then turn it up a bit when we leave for the evening so it's a little warmer when we go to bed. Just our preference. OCruisers Posted June 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2014 You can control the temperature in your cabin ... but public areas are often very chilly so do have some sort of wrap with you. LuLu
jrzebird Posted June 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2014 I was on the CB once when the temperatures in different areas of the ship were so varied that it was like walking into a wall. Uncomfortably warm in one area and really cold in another. But it was only once, and for the most part the temperatures have been very even. I do know there have been issues in some cabins, but not any of mine. I do bring a jacket or wrap to throw over my shoulders, just in case. mollyanne Posted June 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2014 We were on the CB last week and the only place that ever seemed really warm was the hallway where the photos are displayed. Every other area seemed fine. Our balcony cabin on Caribe had probably the best A/C we ever had on this ship - having sailed 4 times previously on her. We actually had to raise the temp at night. dorisis Posted June 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 6, 2014 I find the temperatures vary from area to area. Some kind of wrap is needed in the evening.
golfb4cruzing Posted June 6, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 6, 2014 I enjoy very cool temps and found the ship pleasant. The wife is a freeze baby and always had a sweater or wrap nearby.
Meatman1 Posted June 9, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Thanks for all your posts. I guess I should take a light jacket and maybe a long sleeved shirt for evening events. Thanks
ImNotSure Posted June 9, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 9, 2014 I was so cold the whole time on ship. We had two rooms and we both kept had to keep turning our rooms up because the steward kept turning the temp all the way down. brrr!
Ethel5 Posted June 9, 2014 #11 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Temperatures on a ship are even more subjective than the food! You can control your cabin temperature via thermostat. Areas on the ship vary from venue to venue but I have not been cold anywhere and never needed a wrap. So, if you tend to be cold at home, you may want to take a sweater. bhopal21 Posted June 9, 2014 #12 Share Posted June 9, 2014 I've never been cold anywhere on a ship either and one can always put on enough clothes to stay warm. Mike:)
custompcsys Posted June 9, 2014 #13 Share Posted June 9, 2014 When I come in from a day of shore excursions and walking in 8.2 million degree heat I am very grateful that they keep the interior nice and cool :D
