Meatman1 Posted June 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) Hi, Does Princess charge (Caribbean Princess) to use a robe in the room? From what I understand for the room I am staying in, I would not get a teri-cloth but a waffle type one. On my Princess Cruise profile, there it the option to have a robe in the room, but it doesn't say if there is a charge for the use of the robe. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Colo Cruiser Posted June 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) They are free to use onboard. Just ask your cabin steward, sometimes they don't follow through with the request online. Edited June 6, 2014 by Colo Cruiser
paul929207 Posted June 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2014 No charge. If there is not one in the cabin just ask the cabin steward. Often they are being laundered on embarkation day
Loonbeam Posted June 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2014 To clarify, the robe you will get on request is the waffle type. The terry ones are for the spa. SOMETIMES your steward will get a terry on request, but you will keep the same one throughout the cruise, because if they send it to the laundry, getting another one may not be easy. JF - retired RRT Posted June 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Also, those waffle weave robes come in 2 sizes (kind of OK and way to small:D) and you won't know which size you got until you put it on:p!! The laundry apparently shrinks them and the more times they are washed, the smaller they get.
cdngrl Posted June 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 6, 2014 i was going to say they come in one size fits no-one I know. :) lets just say I can get one belted, but wouldn't answer the door in it!
Rare 4cats4me Posted June 6, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 6, 2014 Shhhhhh. Let's not give Princess anymore ideas for nickel and diming. :D I just threw out my terry cloth Princess robe to Goodwill. We had purchased it, of course For $39 over 10 years ago
Loonbeam Posted June 6, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 6, 2014 I was assuming standard cabin, give the use of 'room'. There are always terry robes in suites, not just for the spa.
