Best time of year to sail Hawaii

Just wondering, when is the best time of year to sail around the Hawaiian Islands?

If you are talking weather, that is discussed here very regularly. The weather doesn't vary much year around. A little wetter Nov-March, but that rarely affects day to day activities. Somewhat warmer in the summer months, but not a lot. Over all, the weather is always pretty nice in Hawaii.

 

Many like to go to Hawaii in December-March as that is whale season.

There is no "bad" time to visit the islands!:)

 

I can tell you the reasons why we chose the time of year that we did - February - because we wanted to escape our Michigan winter and to see the whales. That's it, right there.

That's true...the humpback whales winter in Hawaii, so from late Dec. to early April, you have an excellent chance of seeing them, without trying too hard!

That's so true. Just after we got back onboard the Golden Princess on Christmas Day 2012 in Lahaina, hubby and I were out on the aft deck looking at many whales hanging close to the ship.

I prefer the January thru March time frame.
