If I purchase a bottle of liquor through the gifts and gear before boarding for use in our cabin, can I carry on a few small cans or bottles of lets say cranberry juice or tonic....??

Yes but it would be best to carry them on so you can be there if they have questions.

Not a problem. I take on Mt. Dew (Princess doesn't carry it) as well as Tonic Water and Propel water (for my wife). I often drink "and Tonic" as I call it. Same as Gin and Tonic but without the Gin. I carry on my own Tonic water for this purpose. :) (I also carry on my own limes for the same purpose.)

We always get a glass of cut limes from the bar.
