sanmarcosman Posted September 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Liquid soap and shampoo in the shower and cheap bar soap at the wash basin.
ShakyBeef Posted September 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2014 The bar soap they now provide is as cheap and nasty as it gets:

NightOne Posted September 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2014 It looks like a pretty atypical hotel hand soap bar. Can I ask what you feel is so "nasty" about it?
ShakyBeef Posted September 16, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) It looks like a pretty atypical hotel hand soap bar. Can I ask what you feel is so "nasty" about it? It neither lathers well, nor rinses cleanly. And it stinks, as well. It's nasty in every way a soap can be nasty. ETA: I have had far better soap in every hotel in which I have ever stayed. Even the cheap little motels. E(again)T(also)A: atypical is right! :P Edited September 16, 2014 by ShakyBeef

ShakyBeef Posted September 16, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Soap doesn't have to lather to work well. I didn't say it did. I just find it unpleasant when it doesn't lather.;) And although soap may clean hands and kill germs without lather, lather does aid in the removal of dirt. Edited September 16, 2014 by ShakyBeef

EL Capitan Z Posted September 17, 2014 #13 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Do they provide bar soap, or do they have the body wash liquid dispensers for the shower? Bar soap and liquid dispensers (Shampoo and Soap) are provided. We were not provided any HAIR CONDITIONER, so we bought some at the Carnival onboard store. k2excursion Posted September 17, 2014 #14 Share Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) I have very very dry skin, and I use their body wash & soap. In fact, I LOVE their body wash. I do need more of it to get a good lather going compared to name brand body washes. The soap is effective for it's purpose. It has no scent, which is fine with me. It doesn't stink, but has no pleasant scents added. It is a little bit tougher to get a lather with it than normal soaps, but it's not difficult at all. Their shampoo is good enough, but I'll still use a little bit of my own. But no conditioner is provided. I would bring my own for that either way.
