Nice Luggage tags if they don't have any (and a portable luggage scale for after!)

If their camera isn't waterproof a throw away underwater camera would be fun for a tropical cruise.

+1 on sunscreen-but make sure you get the water/reef safe (not waterproof!) Very important for the Caribbean and most people don't know they need specific types to protect the reefs.

Don't forget you can order gifts from Royal Caribbean as well and have them decorate the room or give wine.

I'm watching for other good ideas as I am making up a goodie bag for my mom for our cruise.

straps for sunglasses, plastic luggage tag sleeves since RC luggage tags are now paper, waterproof case for money etc. when off ship, highlighters, post its, sunvisor, picture frame for cruise memories (Hallmark has one that says cruise on it), remind them to bring a watch since you can't rely on your cell phone for time if you stay on ship time when off the ship

Boca Clips to hold their beach towels to their chairs/loungers.

I have the flamingos.

I have the Flamingo and DH has the Dolphin clips... best travel purchase for us! However, I think I really need those Flip-flop clips. Never saw those before and they are SO CUTE! :)

One other thing that I would DEFINITELY add to a gift basket these days is an RFID blocking wallet of some kind. They can be a little pricier than a regular wallet for a gift basket, but may pay for itself in the end. From what I hear, it is very popular for thieves to use RFID scanners to obtain your credit card information when traveling. I just bought one for me and am giving one to my Mom for Christmas this year. Just a thought...

you can't go wrong with cash! the one thing i cannot cruise without == a watch that clips onto your bag == going to try to add a pix here. its on amazon for $14.95 .. .there's some higher priced ones and some cute ones with a frog ... but this one has a compass too and it's priced nicely! love mine!

The RFID wallet is a great idea- I am nut sure I would have thought of it! They also have RFID sleeve sets you can order, so you can use your regular wallet. I am definitely getting a set before my trip! I didn't even know that existed!

skatermegs,

I just bought a Travelon RFID blocking purse - BTW it is pretty stylish, and it came with a small RFID blocking wallet/clutch on QVC... (I am addicted to QVC and probably need a support group for that, but I digress - LOL!) Anyway, it was a great value and I know that it will come in handy when we travel. :)
