How are aft cabins?

I believe it was 7708 on the Indepence. We've also stayed in 7688 on the Navigator. The deck 7 corner afts on both the freedom and voyager classes have this great balcony - my ghost picture only shows a little over a half if it! While the cabins are standard size E1 triples, the balconies are huge. I loved that I could look straight down to the water from that open 6ft porthole.

Wow! I would not have guessed how nice the balconies are based on the deck plans :)

You can see videos of a lot of these balconies by searching the ship class/name & cabin #'s on youtube.

We had an aft-corner cabin on our last cruise (Vision) and loved it. A little vibration, but the extra-large balcony more than made up for it. As far as noise, we were right below the spa, so it was quiet at night. I would be a little hesitant about being right under the windjammer or any pools though.

I Really enjoyed my corner aft balcony on Vision! I so loved having my

private sunset dinner on the wrapped portion.

Hello all,

Never cruised in an aft cabin before except in Navy where it was very noisy and a ton of vibration. Also, we are on Deck 10 under the windjammer. Is there noise from the crowds and is there propulsion vibrations? Just curious if we need earplugs?

The propellers woke me up every morning when we docked on the Indy. For this reason alone I would never book one again. Plus there was soot every morning on the chairs and I got more than one shirt or pair of shorts dirty because of the soot.

I agree!

Is that 7652?

Crickets close but it was, JS 8088 so port side corner aft. I believe both 7 corners are wrapped.

I believe that's JS 8088 on the Vision. I had that cabin for the cruise right after Karen had it. The balcony is fantastic!

Bill I believe it is one of the best balconies for the money on the Vision class if not the whole darn fleet.

You have to get a little used to the vibration, but the further we got into our cruise the less it became to basically nonexistent. My theory was they were working on something. It was pretty strong the first night and 1st sea day, but when we left Honduras it was half and when we left Cozumel you had really sit and concentrate to notice it. I can't wait to compare Brilliance, but for me it is16 months away.

Few more pix's
