rocky1 Posted January 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2015 Any recent Sun cruisers.......Are robes included with the Sun's balcony cabins? Last time we cruised NCL we had them, but that has been a couple of years ago. Thanks!
bostongal965 Posted January 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2015 We had robes in our cabin (as well as a coffee-maker) on our Thanksgiving cruise on the Sun. Have fun - she's a great ship!
ronn772 Posted January 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2015 We've been on the Sun three times... leaving tomorrow for our fourth!!! If you don't have robes when you board, just ask your cabin steward. One time we didn't have robes when we first got to the cabin, but we asked and had them by turn-down that night. rocky1 Posted January 11, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted January 11, 2015 We were just wondering, since it has been a while since we were on the Sun and it wasn't specifically mentioned in the cabin description. We surely don't want to pack anything that bulky. Enjoy your cruise!
Love my butler Posted January 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Any room on any ship in the NCL fleet you can simply ask your room steward for robes and they will provide for you.
Drico Posted January 11, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Just make sure the robes are clean. I've read posts from people finding used tissues in the pockets and "track marks" on the back.

GoofyCrew Posted January 12, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 12, 2015 Just off the Sun this Am. We had a balcony, complete with robes. We did not use them. They looked like they had been hanging there a while... (Crumpled...)
cb at sea Posted January 12, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 12, 2015 In a pinch, a swim suit cover up (for women, anyway) can double as a robe. I bring my lightweight robe that I know fits....the provided robes are so bulky and big! I'm kind of petit!

luvcruzing Posted January 12, 2015 #12 Share Posted January 12, 2015 I've never had this problem on any of my cruises. Harriet Nor I. Always had a clean robe tied tightly at the waist.

medicalma'am Posted January 12, 2015 #14 Share Posted January 12, 2015 Suggestion: When you exit your cabin at the end of your cruise, just leave your robes ON THE FLOOR so the steward knows that they are dirty used robes and will take them with the rest of the items to be laundered. Leaving them hanging might mean to them "not used" and cause the next occupants unwanted surprises.

Thanks for this information. I am starting to pack for our cruise in a couple of weeks and don't want to fit a robe in if I don't have to. We're just in an OV cabin.
